Seen in the Real World

As I was walking through the fine art building, I noticed this exhibition. It includes multiple pieces that exhibit a common theme. Each piece includes a photograph that are altered in different ways to make each piece more interesting to the viewer. I was drawn to these pieces due to the artists great use in both positive and negative space. The artist puts a intentional, unexpected twist on ordinary photographs, almost as if digitally painting vibrant patterns over the top of the black and white photos. By doing this it adds a particular feeling of a day dream, hints the name of the exhibition. Screen Shot 2018-02-27 at 2.46.34 PM
